THE TREES OF THE FIELD
8 Weeks | by Carol Sallee | Green Room
Trees are central to the biblical narrative, among the Bible’s most powerful and persistent symbols. There is a tree on the first page of Genesis and on the last page of Revelation. Every major character and every major theological event has a tree marking the spot. God uses trees throughout Scripture to teach powerful spiritual lessons. In this 8-week study, you will come to see that in the Bible, trees are not just background scenery—they each tell a story.
Option 2:
FOREVER FOR OUR GOOD:
THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY
8 Weeks | by Katie J. McCoy Ph. D | W-100
(Led by Daneille Leiphart and Karri Wilson)
What comes to mind when you think of the biblical laws of the Old Testament? Perhaps a list of rules that don't apply to our time and place? The truth is these laws are hidden gems of grace that are for your benefit even today. At the core of Deuteronomy is love. God sets His love on us, and as we learn to love Him with all our hearts, souls, and strength, we learn to love our neighbor as ourselves. This kind of love fulfills the entire Law, puts the character of God on display through our lives, and is forever for our good.
