Put Off the Old Self

In Colossians 3, Paul calls believers to put to death the old self our sinful thoughts, desires, and actions that once defined us apart from Christ. Pastor John Wohlgemuth reminded us that sin can’t be managed or tamed; it must be ruthlessly killed because in Christ we have already been made new. Through God’s power, we are freed from sin’s grip and called to live out the new identity He has given us, reflecting His image to the world.
